Details:
The comet was at the limit of detection, and I couldn't see it with naked eye or binoculars, At this point it was 2 degrees above the horizon. It was really dark and, atmosphere clear and dry, and over a sierra. Second picture I have pplied a gradient removal and HDR toning expecting to see the tail. Photo taken with a Sony NEX-5, 55-210mm lens on a tripod, ISO 1600, 10s.
