Details:
Despite a bank of cirrus clouds moving through the area, we were able to pick up the comet in 9x63 binoculars around 10:35, then I began taking photos. Within a few minutes, it had become enough darker that the comet was visible to the naked eye on occasion as the clouds moved past. I used a Nikon D5600 Camera with a 30 mm f1:1.4 Sigma lens. I believe the ISO was 25600 judging by what the camera showed later. The best exposures ranged from 3 to 5 seconds, 20 seconds was way too long at that ISO.
