On July 11 I was able to observe the comet soon after lower culmination, though the telescope was partly obscured by the dome wall. After 29 10s exposures were obtained cloud stopped further imaging. 315mm f/8 DKT and QSI 683 2020 July 11 00h48 - 01h00 UT. N up, fields 24' x 18' and 4.6' square. Unsharp-mask processing reveals brightness variations that are attributed to waves of ejected dust expanding away from the nucleus.
