Details:
Comet C/2020 F3 photographed both evening and morning from Poltava (49.6N), caught nearby two bright stars, 25 and 26 Lyncis. It became circumpolar but high trees in the north somewhat obscure the view. Charts are made to show comet's movement for the next three nights (until July 19/20), as it will move further 14° westward, passing by iota Ursae Majoris. The two photos were made at 22:28 and 1:31 EET (comet altitude 9° in both, 7° in lower culmination at midnight). Single frames 30s@ISO1600 and 20s@ISO3200 at 18mm. The dust tail was spanning at least 7° visually and over 10° on the photo. The best time to observe will be around 2200-2230 your local solar time, as the comet is rapidly moving into the evening sky.
