Details:
observed from Mt Wilson/CA, just below 100"/60" telescope domes Comet very difficult to pickup visually, it was rising over some dirty air. I only found it with my time-lapse cameras (rising tail over hill-line). Nucleus cleared hill-line (1 deg altitude), then I started shooting astrographs -- 610mm/6, 400mm/4, 300mm/2.8 (4), 200mm 2.8 (4) Moonlight & oncoming twilight washes out faint blue ion tail, but you can BARELY detect it in the raw/unprocessed frames
Pics are 100mm/4 (tracked) on Canon 5D2, tripod mounted Canon T4i (80-200/2.8 zoom)
