Details:
My first evening capture. Taken between 9:47PM (5 deg above horizon) to 10:18PM (sets 10:14PM). Taken with Nikon d7100, Nikkor 85 mm f/1.4 @ f/2.8, iso 400, exp 8s. About 5 degrees worth of tail is visible. Tech Specs: Nikon d7100, Nikkor 85mm f/2.8 @ f/2.8, iso 400 exp 10s then iso 1100 exp 8s. The comet was hard to see naked eye until it was about 3.5 degrees. I was surprised by how long the tail appeared with the orientation that differed from the morning appearance. Having reference objects on the horizon help to create this perspective.
