Details:
July 12 - My 8th day of observing Comet NEOWISE. Up at 2:30 am - I don't see any clouds or haze along the eastern horizon like yesterday morning. Pack the car and head to a nearby ranch that has an iconic windmill - it makes a great foreground for photographing Comet NEOWISE. The tail appears longer less curved than on previous mornings. I can also see it quite well with the naked eye. I'd estimate it at about 5 degrees in length. - Portal, AZ Nikon D7200, 70-300 zoom at 100mm, 3 seconds, f/7.1, ISO 6400 (stack of 8 exposures), at 4:10 am Images stacked in Starry Landscape Stacker, additional processing in Photoshop CC and Topaz DeNoise AI.
