This morning there were no appreciable NLCs here around. Nonetheless, the show was no less fascinating. The NEOWISE comet has moved a few degrees away from the sun and now shines in a spectacular way when the twilight lights do not yet dazzle. The comet's tail is perfectly visible to the naked eye for about twenty minutes between four o'clock local time. What a dirty little snowball can't do 100 million kilometers away from the earth! I have not tried to observe it with binoculars. I limited myself to observing the landscape of our mountains as it appeared to me. The vision of the whole was wonderful. Photo taken at 03:48 when the C/ 2020 F3 was about 7 ° high on the horizon with a focal length of 100mm, i.e. nothing. With the naked eye, the tail is distinguished by about three lunar diameters, or perhaps even more. Of course, much more subdued than the one that manages to capture a photographic shot, but still appreciable considering that twenty years have passed since the last comet so brilliant for us. Great show!
