Though at this point I could not make out the comet with my own eyes during the predawn hours of Tuesday, July 7, my Nikon D7200 camera did. This image looks northeast from Marion, Iowa at 4:32 am CDT. It is a 15 second exposure at f/7.1, ISO 250, 52mm focal length.
