Details:
I hiked up to Bernal Heights Hill in San Francisco with camera, tripod and binoculars this morning and got great views as it rose over Oakland. Initially I could only find it in the binos but as it cleared the city smog and fog I was able to see it clearly with direct vision including the tail. I found the best window of time was around 4:30-4:45am. An incredible sight and definitely worth the effort to see!
