Details:
My best image of the ICARUS antenna mounted on the ISS Zvezda module, (International Cooperation for Animal Research Using Space, an initiative of Russian and German space agencies to track the movement of the smallest animals—birds, turtles, fish, and insects). The recordings on May 23 showed a varying resolution due to seeing effects. Sometimes the antenna was resolved from the module, sometimes it wasn't. In some cases, the antenna was smeared out a bit, giving an impression of a bigger antenna in proportion to the module. The displayed image was specially selected on best resolution of the ICARUS antenna. Taken with 10 inch F4,8 Newtonian, barlowed secondary focus with Astrolumina ALccd 5L-11 mono CMOS camera. Tracking was fully manually using the crosshair method at low magnification on the tracking scope.
