Details:
The night started out at the world famous glacial erratic at Okotoks Alberta, I then moved on to Frank Lake a world famous birding location. When I arrived at Frank lake it was around 0700 UTC, and the NLC's were to vague to even photograph. I decided to wait until 0900 UTC as this was when they usually appear, right on schedule the NLC's appeared and graually built up into one of the most mezmerizing NCL displays that I have ever witnessed. The entire Eastern sky from North to South was filled with amazing ribbons of wispy white blueish clouds. They traveled far enough south that I managed to capture them with Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. The kicker of the morning was capturing Venus in the morning sunrise with just a tiny hint of NLC's.
