Details:
I awoke at about 3am and looking out of the window saw my first display of noctilucent clouds this year. They were probably the brightest I have ever seen, outshining the golden predawn light and a few lower level clouds. The valley to the north was gently illuminated revealing the the mist filled valley with trees just protruding from the blanket of mist. Image taken with a Canon 5D and Sigma 24-70mm lens at 30mm. exposure 15s , f3.5, ISO 200
