Details:
With no Moon in the sky, Comet C/2019 U6 (Lemmon) shined at magnitude 6.6 and was just visible to the unaided eye (with keen averted vision) next to the 5th-magnitude star 6 Puppis. The proximity to the star helped in the naked-eye detection. This image shows it sailing way from the beautiful open star cluster M46, sporting a ~30' tail.
