Details:
Update on Comet Lemmon, which is still hanging out in Canis Major, shining at magnitude 6.9. Hoping it will rise in brightness in the coming weeks. Right now, it's battling a waxing gibbous Moon; it's also slipping closer and closer to the horizon from Maun, Botswana. If the Moon were not out, you'd see a 30' tail through binoculars. But perhaps you can through a small telescope. So far, it's been a delightful binocular companion over the last month. Give it a try if it's up in your sky.
