It’s a beautiful afternoon for observing Venus! But...DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!! Venus at 19:59 UT; 57.4”; 0.6% illuminated; 6°18’ from the Sun! Observed using 3” Unitron with 19mm Panoptic eyepiece. Screen grab from video with iPhone 8. I used a very long sun shield attached to the dew shield of the telescope in order to keep solar glare out of the telescope.
