Details:
May 28, 2020 21:51 UT. Nine degrees from the sun. Celestron C11, Skyris 236M (red filter). Best single frame out of a few thousand. Seeing was average but stacking was pointless since the super thin crescent was easily distorted or made into a double image. When looking through the eyepiece I think about how Parker Solar Probe flew by (and will fly by more times) just 1,500 miles from the surface. Venus radius is 3760 miles. That's significant to me because I watched PSP launch in person in Aug 2018.
