Details:
1) The Moon passes south of Gemini's bright open cluster M35 at 10pm MDT. (In all 3 photos) N is to the upper right and the Moon is moving to the upper left. Despite the Moon's glare the faintest stars are mag 11-12.
2) The Moon with Earthshine 12 minutes earlier in twilight. Note how far the Moon has moved eastward against the stars during that time.
3) Close-up of the crescent Moon. On the right side the terminator runs through the middle of Mare Crisium, and Langrenus is the prominent crater with central peak at the center point of the crescent.
