Details:
After a failed tornado/stormchase in northwestern Kansas, USA, clear skies to the west afforded fantastic views of an MCS (Mesoscale convective system) moving through the western Nebraska panhandle to the north. Extremely bright 'jellyfish' sprites were easily visible naked-eye through the evening twilight! This is a framegrab of the brightest one I managed to capture with my astrophotography-modified Canon T3i.
