SOLAR CYCLE 25 SUNSPOT: An active region is about to emerge over the northeastern limb. Due to its high latitude, it’s more than likely is a sunspot from solar cycle 25. Multiple AIA temperature images from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory show the towering magnetic loops surrounding the region as it is about to rotate onto the visible solar disk.
