Details:
Now that Comet Swan has departed the southern skies, we are fortunate to have another comet in outburst. Comet C/2019 U6 (Lemmon) is a nice telescopic object in Lepus with a condensed inner coma, diffuse outer coma, and a dim and thin tail. I estimated the comet's magnitude at 7.9 last night). The comet is also visible dimly in 8 x 42 binoculars under a dark sky.
