Details:
Cloud on Thursday evening almost prevented the Full Supermoon from being seen rising to the east of Mutare after sunset. However it did make made brief appearances as it climbed between multiple thin layers of cloud over Mozambique. These produced some interesting effects including face like emojis and a strange cap-like halo which momentarily draped the upper half of the Moon as it rose from a clear space into another layer of cloud above. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset mode with up to x60 zoom magnification.
