In the late evening the sky was completely clear allowing a picture to be taken of the Moon at the exact instant of First Quarter at 20.38 UT (22.38 LT) with the terminator straight and dividing it in two. Three quarters of an hour later it was captured setting behind some Musasa trees at the foot of the Christmas Pass slope of Transmitter Hill. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in manual mode with x60 zoom magnification.
