Details:
I have been keeping a close eye on Comet C/2019 Y1 Atlas, since Y4 Atlas started to fall apart, and in recent images I have been capturing comet Y1 seems to have developed a secondary tail pointing towards the 2 o clock position. I used a pentax K5 DSLR and small refractor to capture the attached image and was really surprised my camera is sensitive enough to pick up this very faint tail.. I will continue to monitor this comet until Comet Swan graces me towards the end of may.
