Details:
BepiColombo flew by Earth for a gravity assist on its way to Mercury. These two 20 second exposures show the spacecraft rapidly moving across the field. The first one was taken at 10:34pm MST right after it emerged from the shadow. The second was taken at 11:16pm MST. Note how the trail is shorter due to the spacecraft moving farther away even thought the exposure times were identical.
