Details:
The phase of Venus is gradually diminishing as it becomes closer to us in its solar orbit. However, it is so nicely separated from the Sun at sunset that its light passes through less of Earth's atmosphere making it an attractive imaging target. I recorded this image using a ZWO ASI290mm and a Meade LX50 10" SCT f/10 RGB Channels.
