In this pair of images it can be seen that C/2019 Y4 ATLAS (m.9) was dimmer than C/2017 T2 PanSTARRS (m.8) by one magnitude or so on the night of April 5th. It was expected to be one magnitude BRIGHTER on that day. Breakup of Y4 was already happening.
