Venus visits the Pleiades approximately once every eight years, and this conjunction was rather close, occurring on April 3, 2020. Acquired with a Samyang 85mm f/1.4 aspheric lens, stopped to f/4, on a Canon 1100D camera mounted on a Kenko Sky Memo tracker. Taken near beginning of astronomical twilight, local time 8:50 PM EDT, 00:46 UTC, in bright skies under a waxing gibbous moon.
