Details:
Last night's apparition of Evening Star Venus embedded in the Pleiades , taken with my Nikon DSLR and 70~200mm zoom ED-VR zoom riding piggyback on a Meade LX200 SCT tracking the sky. 8 second exposure at f/4 using ISO 1600. The rapidly dissipating clouds added a nice third layer between the foregroud treetops and the cosmos.
