Details:
Venus is slowly entering the realm of the Seven Sisters. The nearly 1000x difference in brightness between our sister world and the brightest stars of the Pleiades star cluster 440 light years away was mind blowing. I stacked a series of 13" exposures captured through a Stellarvue 102ED and a modified Canon XS DSLR. Unfortunately, skies will be cloudy here in Pennsylvania during the upcoming days for additional view.
