Details:
On 1st April there were four astronomical displays visible from Mutare. The first before dawn was the morning star Jupiter with a conjunction between Saturn and Mars below. The second in late afternoon was the First Quarter Moon shining bright in shades of darkening sky after sunset. The third was the bright evening star Venus approaching the Pleiades Star Cluster at dusk and the fourth was the First Quarter Moon setting down the slope of Transmitter Hill before midnight. Camera: Hand-held and tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 in sunset and night scenery modes with up to x60 zoom magnification.
