Details:
The nights are becoming shorter and shorter in the far north of Finnish Lapland (nearly 70°N), but we still have a few dark hours to see the Aurora.
And when like tonight, despite Kp being equal to zero, and the solar wind data not showing anything promising, the northern lights came out to dance during the "blue hour", then I feel very lucky.
During the entire season, I had wanted to climb up that tall hill to photograph the Aurora above the Teno River, marking the border between Finland (my side) and Norway (opposite side). The conditions never aligned until tonight!
This is another sign that so far in the north, we don't need any particular storm to spark beautiful auroras!
