Details:
I thought at first that the Sun was totally blank today, but in fact there is a small active region very near to the centre of the disc. Also , upon processing there was yet another polar prominence! This one is very unusual as it is almost bang on the south pole. After a search in the GONG archive I could only find it clearly on one image at 09:10 UT. A minute or two either side of this one and it was not there.
