These days I am dedicating myself to the colors of the stars visible to the naked eye: chosen a constellation, point one by one all its brightest stars, and after putting them out of focus to make its color better visible, I photograph them with my smarthpone. I slowly build a collage, taking into account the brightness, thus obtaining images of COLOR CONSTELLATIONS, where the nuances of each single star that draw them are all visible in a single glance. The result is truly original, also because most of these stars, being far from deep-sky objects or not being double stars, usually go unnoticed, yet at the telescope they reveal loads of very surprising nuances. It is really nice, piece by piece, to see the overall effect that comes out every time: the constellations that one thought he knew, appear new, with shades that obviously you did not imagine and often capable of removing from the anonymity small stars to which usually no importance was given. The final images then, with the lines of the constellations and the stars out of focus, remind me of long ethnic necklaces rich in stones and precious metals.
So far I have photographed over 200 stars and some constellations have already ended: Ursa Major, Boote, Cancer, Gemini, Corona Borealis, Orion, and Taurus.
