Finally some really good Auroras here in northern Finnish Lapland! After nearly 2 weeks up here, we finally enjoyed a proper, long enough display of the northern lights. As you can see, the show started during the blue hour. As soon as the sky was dark enough, auroras revealed themselves above the northern horizon. After this, some higher activity produced a beautiful show overhead! And finally, the entire sky turned very pale green, noticeable only to the trained eyes of the regular aurora chasers. But it made some really nice patterns above the cottages. What a great night in Finnish Lapland! And now I really hope that the closer we get to the equinox, the more nights like this we will get! Bring it on!
