It had been a lovely bright and crisp Winter's day in the UK today so I had to take the opportunity as the Sun set to capture both inferior Planet's against a deepening twilit background. It's a fairly rare opportunity to witness both inferior Planet's at the same time and so easily with the naked eye, especially from UK latitudes! Our next good opportunity to see them close together will be on May 21st and 22nd 2020.
Canon EOS 5D MK3 with Canon 24-105mm F4 lens at F6.3, exposure:2 secs at ISO 800. Taken February 6th 2020 at 18:11UT.
