Details:
The quickly Mercury - in addition to Venus, the currently second "evening star" in the evening sky. After work, I quickly drove up the hill Lerchenberg near Börnchen in Saxony.I had taken my 8 x 30 Zeiss Jena binoculars with me to find the planet. It wasn't necessary! The planet was very bright, -0.9 mag. And immediately recognizable thanks to the very transparent air. It is worth looking out for the planet closest to the sun in the next few days! The best evening visibility for this year!
