Details:
The photos show Mercury only 7.7 degrees from the Sun at 19:00 (UTC-3h). Shining at m=-1.1, the planet was only 2.3 degrees above the horizon. I used a Nikon CoolPix P900 camera to capture it 20 minutes after sunset and 12 minutes before setting over the sea. Since the contrast with the bright sky near the Sun was very poor and also due to the very low altitude, the images exhibit a high level of noise. The last photo shows the narrow gap in the clouds that allowed me to capture the planet.
