Taken with an iPhone 11 in Polk City, IA Sunday, January 19 at approx. 9 a.m. Temp was -2 Fahrenheit. These beautiful sundogs followed a winter storm that dumped 5 inches of snow and ice followed by 24 hours of 30+ m.p.h. winds. There were still remnants of the sundog around 11 a.m., but not nearly as brilliant or well-defined.
