Details:
We got a bright and high pass of the new Starlink 3 constellation of satellites on the evening of 2020 01/13 at ~19:30-52 pm cst (UT 2020 01/14/0130-52) from the Fort Davis, TX area. Using Sony a6400 dslr, Nikon 28mm/f2.8 lens, iso 12800, 5s exp., the leader Starlink 1066 and 1081 were passing by Venus at about 19d altitude in the WSW sky followed by a group of 38 more. Second image is close-up of another part of the group with a combination of brighter sats and fainter starlink trails between them. A second group of 18 more spread out followed several minutes later. The SkyXPro charts show the fov of the first group near Venus. Magnitudes ranged from about 3rd to 6th mag. and were visible from Venus to below CAS in the North.
