Details:
A faster solar wind and stronger magnetic parameters sparked bright and fast Auroras tonight in northern Finnish Lapland. Standing on the shore of the Teno River, which marks the border between Finland and Norway, we observed in awe the beautiful lightshow. At some point, we even observed fast moving needles and a purple fringe! Tonight was the start of my Polar Night and Aurora photography workshop in Utjsoki, Lapland, and we couldn't have dreamt of a better start for our group of photographers from all over the world (Australia, Philippines, the UK and Mexico). Again, what a night in the northernmost part of Finnish Lapland!
