Celestial Christmas Tree Ornaments - It is never too late decorate your Christmas tree. Last evening I was checking out the amazingly close pairing of Venus and the waxing crescent Moon from my backyard. I took the opportunity to see what it would look like to decorate my white pine (Pinus strobus) tree in the back yard with a well lit planet and a glowing Moon.
Tripod mounted Nikon P900 at 46.4 mm, ISO 800, f/4.5, for 1/2 seconds.
