Details:
It is so good to be back in Finnish Lapland! But this time, I was not welcomed by Auroras, but rather by the much rarer Polar Stratospheric Clouds. I have seen Auroras countless times, but this was just my third time observing those high altitude clouds! In this very windy and cloudy weather, they were at first hard to spot, but as soon as I saw a glimpse of this mother of pearl kind of pink, I knew what I was looking at. What a great way to start this long trip to Lapland, and now I'm waiting for Auroras of course.
