Details:
At the McDonald Obs. VC Star Party on 2019/12/21, I was able to see and photograph over 40 Starlink 2 satellites traverse the NW sky between Vega, Draco's head and under Kochab, UMi during a 10m period from 7:30-40pm cst. The image was the first group of 8 led by Starlink-1027 with the rest following. The SkyXPro star charts show the lead group and then the full band of satellites with the constellation patterns above the horizon and below. Sony a6300 dslr, 12mm f/3.2 wf lens, iso 6400, 4s exposure. With scheduled launches of more than 500+ in 2020 the Heavens Above will not be the same !!
