Details:
After reading on this website that a coronal hole had been facing us, with expected effects on the 8th or 9th of December, I got very excited, and rightly so! My friend Steven picked me up early in the evening to explore some spots of the Lofoten Islands in Norway, and what a show we got! The almost full moon did not spoil the show, and to the contrary it brought some very welcome light on the landscapes. This was my first visit ever to this spectacular region of Norway, and how lucky am I to get such northern lights!
