Details:
I was very lucky with the weather today. While most of New England and the east coast were under clouds, the Cape enjoyed mostly clear skies all morning and early afternoon. I was able to capture this sequence image of tiny little Mercury transiting the solar disk from 8:45am-12:55pm EST. Exposures were taken every 10min using an Astro-Physics 130EDT refractor, Canon EOS 6D and a Baader AstroSolar filter.
