Despite thickening high cloud managed to capture the first thirty minutes of the 5½ hour transit of Mercury from ingress at 12.36 UT to 9 percent at 13.06 UT. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ60 compact camera with exposed x-ray film filter attached to front of x60 zoom lens.
