Details:
A long and cold but crystal clear night in Abisko ended in a blaze of aurora after a very calm start. For the first hour the aurora was barely visible, low solar activity and a bright moon, but typically just after we called it a night with our guests at 11:15 the whole sky lit up. A quick evacuation of our van gave my guests a show to remember and I quickly got a couple of shots in before everything calmed again.
