Details:
Northern Lights from a Delta Air Lines CS100/A220 enroute Fairbanks to Seattle. Solar activity was extremely low, with the KP of the past 24 hours never going above 0, and the Bz steady at +2; yet despite these odds I still caught a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis near the Southeast Alaska/Southwest Yukon border. I've always wondered if the Aurora is always there even in the lowest of solar activities. This flight answered my question.
