Details:
Well after a long wait and a lot of running around the last few nights, from Tromso to Finland to Sweden without clear skies, finally on Saturday night the skies opened up on Kvaloya island to reveal the excellent display, that you see in these images.
My guests where awestruck to say the least, Angela from Hong Kong who describes here viewing here, it was gorgeous changing shape colours and dancing so quickly, you could hardly catch an image with your camera, it teased my mind and imagination all night long. When i went home that night said Angela,i could see the aurora dancing every time i closed my eyes it was in my head it it wont leave, it was in my bucket list, but I'm sorry she says ,it stays in my bucket list, its a must see again and again, I'm hooked.
Im so glad we managed to get some impact from the strong solar wind which hit earth 2 days ago, what an amazing night. We are heading south to Senja island tonight with my guests and hope the storm stays with us until tonight
What a display, Marianne Bergli
